Membership Benefits

Why Join CEO?

You just feel it in your core. That constant sense of restlessness, the inability to be still until your creative forces are unleashed. It's difficult to describe, but the feeling is always there, driving you onward.

Have you ever wondered what it'd be like to work for yourself? Ever had an urge to let your creativity out, to build and grow your very own thriving business? Do you have a good business idea but don't know what to do with it? If you love the excitement of a new challenge, this may be the place for you. As a member of CEO you get to join an elite group of like-minded students that don't follow the crowd... they make it.

As a member of CEO you will have:

  • New friends with the same passion for Entrepreneurship.
  • Instruction about all aspects of starting and growing a business from successful entrepreneurs.
  • Opportunities to receive a scholarship by leading in all aspects of the club, including:
    • Marketing, Communications, Membership, Finances, Public Relations, Logistics, and Activities
  • Invitations to exciting, loud activities that are intended to make a splash. Last year we:
    • Set a new World Record as recorded by Guinness
    • Invited the CEO of Dell, Kevin Rollins, to speak to a personal crowd of CEO students
    • Held the Student Entrepreneur of the Year competition, with over $30,000 in prize money
  • Mentors to assist in your entrepreneurial ventures. As a club we have partnered with SEO.com, Funding Universe, and Larson and Co to provide workshops advising in these areas. In addition to these workshops, they’ll also be willing to provide some free advice for business owners and also additional services at a discounted price. This should be a great opportunity for all students that are owners of businesses and members of the CEO club.
  • Chances to rub shoulders with highly successful entrepreneurs and faculty of the Marriott School. When speakers come they will speak for 40 minutes, and then there is a Q & A in another room for club members only. That Q & A session will also have food to snack on while you mingle a little more with the speaker.

Come meet other members of the club through our various networking activites, our facebook group titled "Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization", or through our contact page. We promise to strengthen your Entrepreneurial spirit, help grow your ideas to enterprises, and facilitate finding future business partners!
